Sak Yant Khmer ( សាក់យ័ន្រ្តខ្មែរ )

Sak Yant develops from the understanding of dharma (truth/natural law), cosmology (micro/macrocosm) & its implementation through symbolism, sigils, sacred geometry, sound, and letter alchemy. Along with Mun (mantras), Akum (agamas), Atann (tantras), Katha (stanzas) & Dharanis (incantations), Sak yant (yantra) is one way to invoke, instill and express energies/intentions through the use of sacred science. This is done by applying KHMER letters, numbers & symbols onto the body with cittana (conscious intent) during the chanting of sacred mantras (Vijjā/Vidyāmantra).

The process begins with Khmer Astrology Reading. Based on this, we recommend specific designs that would benefit you in accordance to your life path and karma. After we have agreed on the designs, we then select an auspicious date and time to Sak in accordance with your birth chart.

​The ceremony begins with Maha Namasakar, (homage to Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, Kru), reflection of merits & puja (offerings) of candles, incense, fruits etc. This is then followed by Mantra blessing to wash away negative karma and prepare the body to receive the yant. The receiver will then be given a sacred mantra to chant during the process. The yant is applied with sacred ink according to an auspicious date, time, and facing a specific direction. After the designs are applied, the Yant will be bless to invoke and empower its qualities using the 5 elements. This is done by applying sacred balm, gold leaf, mantra chanting, incense smoke and holy water. Finally, the receiver will ask for the 5 Buddhist precepts and be told the codes of conduct to follow to maintain the energies and power of the yant. There are general rules and specific rules depending on the design and karmic path of the individual. The ceremony concludes with the tying of blessed red string to bestow blessings and seal affirmations.
